A minimum start of day equity of $5,000 is required to place opening transactions in futures options.
Options trading is not suitable for all investors. An option is a contract to buy or sell a specific financial product at a certain price on a certain date. A fee may apply for options exercises or assignments at expiration. For early options exercises or assignments, a $1.50 per contract fee will apply. An NFA Fee of $0.02 per contract applies to all options transactions. These costs will affect the profitability of all futures options trades and should be considered before making any trade. Pricing is for new single-tier per-contract futures accounts. Accounts will receive TradeStation FuturesPlus free of charge. Qualified non-professional subscribers will also receive CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX real-time Globex and E-mini Level 1 and Market Depth data free of charge. New futures clients will be given a 90-day grace period upon funding their account where they will receive Globex market data packages at no cost. Traders who do not meet the waiver criteria will be charged $20 per data package (Level 1 Data and Market Depth Data packages) for a total of $40 per month following the grace period. An annual fee of $50 will apply to all single-tier accounts that fail to maintain an average end-of-month equity balance of at least $2,000 or place at least five (5) trades in the preceding 12 months. If you currently have opened, or intend to open: (1) another equities account under per-share, unbundled, different terms or promotions, or any other plan before 3/3/17; or (2) a tiered-commission futures account, a monthly $99.95 account service fee will apply to accounts that fail to maintain an end-of-month equity balance of at least $100,000, trade at least 5,000 shares or trade at least 50 options contracts or ten round-turn futures contracts in the preceding month.
