Want to know what’s moving in the market when you’re on the move? It’s easier than ever to check, thanks to Hot Lists on TradeStation’s award-winning* mobile app.
Hot Lists have always been a popular feature on the desktop platform because they include so many views. Want to see the biggest gainers or losers in the session? You got it. For the week, or month? You got that, too.
Traders can also distinguish between companies moving a lot on a percentage or dollar basis. They can find companies pushing close to new 52-week highs or lows, or stocks that have big price gaps up or down. Options traders can single out underliers with unusual call or put volume. You can even bring up lists of companies with big changes in their implied volatility.
Most customers see the My Quotes screen when they first log into the mobile app. From here, tap the main navigation menu ☰ on the top left and select Hot Lists. Next it will let you choose between Equities, Index Options and Stock Options. The first category, Equities, leads to the most lists.
Price Lists include results based on price action, like biggest gainers and losers. Volume Lists include biggies in terms of share or options turnover.
Once you’re looking at a list you can sort according to column by touching on their headers. The columns can be changed by clicking on the gear. The filter button on the top right also lets you control the number of results or only see stocks on certain exchanges.
You can also jump to other lists by touching the filter name on the top left. Selecting an individual stock will bring up the main page for the company, where you can select its summary, news, chart, Matrix and options. Click here for more on that.
