Morning Market Briefing is a special pre-market online briefing presented each weekday morning from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. ET. Each briefing is hosted by one of our renowned guest contributors, each a well-known independent trader. Each guest contributor will offer his own technical analysis and outlook on markets for the upcoming trading day.

Whether you trade stocks, ETFs, futures or forex, this daily briefing will help you gain insight into how professional traders assess the markets and set up their trading day. Each contributor brings to the table a different set of skills and perspectives on trading and market analysis. Whatever your level of trading, each session is designed to offer a fresh new way of looking at the trading day ahead.

Scott Andrews

Scott Andrews is a private trader and president of MasterTheGap.com, an educational service that provides daily probabilities and tools for traders. He is the author of Understanding Gaps (TradersPress.com) and a frequent speaker at trading and financial conferences. Join Scott each Thursday morning as he reviews the day's opening gap setups in the S&P 500, Russell 2000, NASDAQ-100 and Dow 30 markets. Using his own research, he will show you the historical probabilities for gap fill based on the opening zone and his three favorite filters: market mood, patterns and seasonality. By 9:30 a.m., you will understand Scott's gap trade plan for the upcoming session and why he favors it.

John Carter

John Carter is an experienced trader, educator and lecturer who shares his extensive knowledge with traders all over the world and on his website, tradethemarkets.com, which he co-founded in 1999. John is the author of the highly acclaimed book, Mastering the Trade (McGraw-Hill). His practical, disciplined approach to trading is based on high-probability trade entries with strict money management. Join John as he presents pre-market analysis of the upcoming trading day. John's trading philosophy for stocks and futures is, "I'd rather take one well-thought-out trade than jump in and out of ten of them haphazardly." To this end, each morning he will scan the markets and look for potential setups that fall within the strict parameters of his trading plan.

Bennett McDowell

Bennett McDowell is the founder of TradersCoach.com®, which provides education for traders in all markets, during all time frames and at all levels. Mr. McDowell developed the ART® (Applied Reality Trading®) entry/exit software used by traders in over 50 countries worldwide. He has written two books, The ART® of Trading and A Trader's Money Management System. His latest book, Survival Guide for Traders, will be released later this year. Join Bennett as he identifies the day's best market opportunities, RadarScreen scanning techniques, money management strategies and more.

John Person

John Person is a full-time trader with 28 years of market experience. He is a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) and President of National Futures.com, an investment advisory service. John is the author of several top-selling trading books, including The Complete Guide to Technical Analysis for the Futures Markets (John Wiley and Sons, Inc.). He appears regularly on CNBC and is widely quoted by CBS Market Watch, Reuters, Dow Jones Newswires and others. Join John as he examines opportunities for the upcoming week using criteria such as his Persons Pivots and seasonal strengths and weaknesses based on his Commodity Traders Almanac book and proprietary indicators. This session is designed to help traders take advantage of momentum and price levels in various futures, stocks and stock sectors.

Corey Rosenbloom

Corey Rosenbloom, CMT, is a trader, educator, and analyst. His goal is to create a community dedicated to reaching out to those who have been burned by the market or are anxious about risking their money to make money in the stock, options, or futures markets. Corey has been investing for the last 10 years but discovered the world of trading during the wicked bear market of 2001-2002 and began actively trading the market short-term mid-2003.

Linda Bradford Raschke

Linda Raschke is President of LBRGroup, Inc., a registered CTA and money management firm since 1992, and president of LBR Asset Management, a commodity pool operator (CPO). She began her professional trading career in 1981 as a market maker in equity options. Linda has been featured in Jack Schwager's critically acclaimed book, The New Market Wizards, as well as the CNBC financial reporter Sue Herera's Women of the Street. In 1995, she co-authored her own best-selling book, Street Smarts—High Probability Short-Term Trading Strategies. Join Linda as she shares her market insights and expertise.

Sam Seiden

Sam Seiden is Vice President of Education for Online Trading Academy. Beginning his career on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, he has traded equities, futures, interest rate markets, forex, options and commodities for more than 15 years while educating hundreds of traders and investors through seminars and daily advisory services both domestically and internationally. He has served as the Director of Technical Research for two trading firms and regularly contributes articles to industry publications. Sam is known for his trading, technical research, and educational guidance.

Hubert Senters

Hubert Senters is a professional day trader and successful entrepreneur. He is co-founder, along with John Carter, of tradethemarkets.com, which provides day-trading education and market analysis. Hubert is a firm believer that you need to have your own style and a method of trading that works for you. Join Hubert as he describes his morning setups and indicators. He looks at many different markets each day, with emphasis on futures. He will discuss what's working now in the futures markets, which markets and contracts he favors for day and swing trades, which futures markets look better for fading and which are better suited for momentum trading.
