Forex in Focus is a weekly LiveOnTheWeb presentation reviewing and previewing the action in the forex markets. Offered Mondays at 1:00 p.m. ET, Forex in Focus is designed to help you gain insight into how professional forex traders assess the markets and plan their trading.
Each week will feature one of our renowned guest contributors, all of whom are well-known independent traders, offering their own technical analysis and outlook on the markets.
Whether you’re an experienced forex trader, just curious, or interested in how forex might affect other markets – and whatever your level of trading – each session is designed to offer a fresh new way of looking at and preparing for the action.

Raghee Horner
Raghee Horner, chief currency analyst for IBFX, provides her personal daily trading tips and insights through Dailyforextradingedge.com. An experienced trader with over 15 years in the markets, Raghee is the co-founder of EZ2Trade Software and has taught her brand of technical analysis and charting strategies to students all over the world. She is an international author and has taught currencies, futures, and equities trading for over a decade. With an emphasis on charting and price action, she continues to teach the tools and strategies that encourage self-directed traders to pursue the study of technical analysis and market psychology.
Brian Kahn
Brian has over 13 years of securities trading experience. He began his financial career in 1998 trading in the bond futures markets for International Trading Group LLC. in Chicago, IL. Upon moving to Utah, while continuing to trade and manage his own accounts, Brian helped to create, teach and sell financial education for True North Academy in American Fork, Utah. True North Academy focused on financial coaching for individuals who trade and manage their own accounts. In 2008, Brian founded Jupiter Peak Financial, a consulting company that creates and delivers technical trading and financial market education for individuals, corporations, institutions, and online brokers. Brian holds Series 3 and Series 65 securities licenses.
John Person
John Person is a full-time trader with 28 years of market experience. He is a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) and President of National Futures.com, an investment advisory service. John is the author of several top-selling trading books, including The Complete Guide to Technical Analysis for the Futures Markets (John Wiley and Sons, Inc.). He appears regularly on CNBC and is widely quoted by CBS Market Watch, Reuters, Dow Jones Newswires and others. Join John as he examines opportunities for the upcoming week using criteria such as his Persons Pivots and seasonal strengths and weaknesses based on his Commodity Traders Almanac book and proprietary indicators. This session is designed to help traders take advantage of momentum and price levels in various futures, stocks and stock sectors.
Todd Gordon
Todd Gordon is Chief Markets Analyst and Trader for Aspen Trading Group, and a contributor to CNBC’s Money in Motion.
Prior to running Aspen Trading Group’s daily market research and trade strategy, Todd served a dual role as Senior Technical Strategist at FOREX.com and Senior Trader for GAIN Capital Asset Management, the parent company of FOREX.com. While authoring FOREX.com’s highly popular Strategy of the Day research report, Todd was executing trading strategies with assets in excess of $10 million at GAIN.
