TradeStation Academic Program

The TradeStation Academic Program is a partnership between TradeStation and educators engaged in the fulfillment of higher learning. This free program provides students of universities and other educational institutions with access to state-of-the-art technology used by today's individual and institutional traders.

The award-winning** TradeStation platform enables educators and students to trade stocks, options, futures and forex in a simulated account using real-time market data. The program offers a safe environment in which to develop and apply trading strategies while learning risk-management skills.

The Award-Winning** TradeStation Platform

Participants in the Academic Program will have free use of the TradeStation platform and its wealth of sophisticated analysis, order-placement and strategy development capabilities.

Simulated Trading Accounts

Each student will be provided simulated (paper trading) accounts for risk-free real-time trading, account and order-management lessons. This will enable them to apply and follow their own indicators and trading strategies while learning how to improve risk-management skills.

Extensive Real-Time and Historical Market Data

Students can take advantage of TradeStation's extensive real-time and historical market data for an in-depth view of the past and ongoing dynamic nature of the U.S. financial markets and forex trading.

Help for Professors and Students

Professors interested in teaching technical analysis can get support from the Market Technicians Association Educational Foundation (MTAEF) with course materials, guest speakers, teaching videos, practice exams and lecture notes.
