The incumbent will be responsible for on-boarding new developers working on our Web API’s, guiding and providing support for our Web API certification program as well as post production support. The position encompasses the creation of detailed certification tests, setup of certification environment and sanity testing of Web API enhancements and documenting and following up on bugs reported by developers. The position also includes the development and usage of test applications or text fixtures using C# or other applicable programming language test framework such as FIT or Fitnesse.
Responsibilities:
- Jos responsibilities include on-boarding developers, guiding and support of developers during certification process as well as post deployment support for Web API developers.
- The position also requires documentation of certification processes and the setup of Web API environments.
Requirements:
- Must possess strong communication skills and be a team player that is assertive and goal-oriented, who can also work on repetitive tasks as needed to achieve those goals with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of web technologies, HTML 5, C#, java scrip and .NET based systems is required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
- Knowledge of Financial Markets is a plus.
