Basic Life & Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)
This plan is designed to protect your survivors. TradeStation provides the basic life insurance and basic AD&D insurance benefits at no cost to you. The basic life insurance benefit amount that the beneficiary may receive is one times the insured's (employee's) annual base salary up to a maximum of $200,000 and an equal amount of coverage for AD&D.
Voluntary Life & Voluntary Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
You have the option to purchase voluntary life & voluntary AD&D insurance coverage for yourself and your eligible dependents at group insurance rates. This coverage is in addition to the basic life & basic AD&D insurance that the company provides. The voluntary employee & spouse life insurance coverage may be purchased in units of $10,000 for a maximum of $500,000. The benefit amounts chosen need not be the same. Voluntary child life insurance coverage may be purchased for ages 14 days to 6 months for $500 coverage and age 6 months to 20 years of age (26, if full-time student) for $10,000 coverage. The employee voluntary AD&D insurance coverage may be purchased in units of $10,000 for a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $500,000, not to exceed 10 times Earnings for amounts over $150,000. The spouse voluntary AD&D insurance may be purchased in units of $5000 for a minimum of $5000 to a maximum of $250,000, not to exceed employee amount. The child voluntary AD&D can only be purchased for $10,000 coverage.
Short Term Disability (STD)
This voluntary plan will provide income to you equal to 60% of your current weekly salary to a maximum of $1,000 per week if you suffer from a disabling accident or illness that is not work-related. Benefit payments will begin after you have been unable to work for 15 days and will continue for up to 11 weeks while you are disabled.
Long Term Disability (LTD)
This voluntary plan will provide income to you equal to 60% of your current monthly salary to a maximum of $6,000 per month if you suffer from a disabling accident or illness on or off the job. Benefit payments will begin after you have been unable to work for 90 days and you will continue to receive payments to age 65.
