TradeStation Ranked #16 in Forbes Magazine’s List of America’s 200 Best Small Companies

Plantation FL, October 19, 2006 – TradeStation Group (Nasdaq GS: TRAD) was ranked #16 by Forbes magazine in its list of America’s 200 Best Small Companies. The magazine takes into account several factors in deciding the rankings, including historical return on equity, sales and EPS growth, recent sales, net income and stock price, 2007 price/earnings ratio estimates and recent market value. To be considered for the rankings, the company must have a minimum $5.00 per share stock price, revenues between $5 million and $750 million, at least a 5% profit margin, and meet other requirements. The featured article, “America’s 200 Best Small Companies,” appears in the October 30, 2006 issue of Forbes.
