The TradeStation Advantage

The #1 Ranked Trading Platform for Active Traders

As an active trader, first and foremost you need a trading platform designed to help you place better, smarter, strategically-executed trades—not just faster ones. A trading platform that can help you formulate and test trading ideas, identify opportunities in real-time, and then automate the execution of your trades to save you precious seconds.

That’s why TradeStation has quickly become the most highly-acclaimed trading platform for active traders—because it offers you two key capabilities...

TradeStation offers you a risk-free method designed to help you pinpoint trading strategies that may have worked year after year based on historical data. Its premiere EasyLanguage® technology lets you communicate virtually any custom trading idea imaginable (when you’d like to buy, and when you’d like to sell) to your computer. Then, with just a click of your mouse, it back-tests your idea on up to 20 years of actual, intra-day market data and shows you the simulated results. All the trades you would have placed, your simulated net profit or loss, and much more—before you risk one cent of real trading capital. And that’s only the beginning…

TradeStation is also designed to help you identify market opportunities and execute your trades more efficiently than you could ever do manually. It actually monitors the markets for you—tick-by-tick, in real-time—and seeks market opportunities based on your strategies. The instant an opportunity arises based on your custom buy or sell rules, it’s designed to automatically generate your entry and exit orders and send them to the marketplace—within fractions of a second of the market move.

Deep-Discount Commissions

At TradeStation, we offer you more than low commissions—our pricing is actually designed to save you money based on how active traders trade...

For Equities, we take into account the actual size of your trades. So, while general-purpose brokers charge you the same flat ticket charge—regardless of whether you trade one hundred shares or one thousand shares—we charge you only a small fee for each share you actually trade (a low $1 minimum per trade, no ticket charges and including all ECN fees).

That means your total commission is as low as $1 for 100 shares. It also means you’re not penalized with extra ticket charges when you scale in and out of positions. And, since we know you need to have access to all major electronic marketplaces to help ensure best execution, we do not, unlike some other brokers, charge you extra fees for ECN-routed trades—or worse yet—restrict your routes of execution.

You may contact TradeStation if you are interested in learning more about these ratings and awards.
